@chemist, "This answer is correct" and "This answer was accepted" may not necessarily be the same thing. Perhaps a minor correction to the wording might help to clear the confusion.

@pichlo people knowing that an answer is the correct one can show others the correct answer that way and close it then as answered/accepted - I added the `faq` tag as questions like this come in quiet...

Use some other application to write the key, and then copy paste it to the field, if that is possible.
